The pros and cons of the internet in our everyday lives can be considered both beneficial and atrocious. A study shows that 95% of information has been digitalized to be available on the internet which has led to a whole modification of social interaction, communication, and the accessibility of knowledge. However, there are advantages and disadvantages to the impact of the internet on society.

The advantages of the internet’s impact on society are listed below:

  • False news, terrorism, and hate are spread online
  • Internet service promotes easy accessibility of illegal products and license theft online

How did the Internet become a Necessity?

The internet became a necessity when the world made a shift to depend highly on technology such as computers, tablets, and smartphones. Other devices like consoles, printers, and alarm systems needed to connect to the WiFi using an internet modem such as the Arris Modem in order to use the internet at all.
